The Jazz Perpetrators

It’s been too long, but The Jazz Perpetrators are finally returning to Brian Boru Irish Pub in Severna Park this Sunday, October 18. While band vocalist/avid golfer Sterling Dorn is still out on the back nine swatting golf balls hither and yon, the band will welcome guest vocalist Robin Skinner up to bandstand to add her vocals to our “jazz adjacent” songs.

One of our favorite singers, Paul Cortese, will add a special solo acoustic performance to the show – it’s going to be a great afternoon for music. The action will take place in the pub area from 4 to 7 pm – don’t miss it!

Brian Boru Irish Pub is conveniently located right at 489 Ritchie Highway #103 in Severna Park.

Although The Jazz Perpetrators are mostly busy doing private gigs these days, they always manage to fit an occasional public appearance at one of their long-time favorite venues, Pirates Cove Restaurant and Dock Bar, located just south of Annapolis in Galesville.

The band will be providing the music for the Pirates Cove’s special Labor Day Weekend Motown Night bash this Sunday, September 6, from 6 to 9 pm. And nobody can create a Motown mood like Perps singer Sterling Dorn, who always gets the audience into the swing of things. So, make the end of summer a blast to remember with a great night at the coolest spot in Galesville.

Land ho – or is it Band Ho? It’s The Jazz Perpetrators dropping anchor at Pirates Cove to help see this coming weekend out in style with their snazzy hi-spirits/low-volume musical mayhem. This time the fun will be on Sunday, June 14, at the restaurant’s dock bar from 6 until 9pm.

The band has traditionally made merry at Pirates Cove at the end of summer, but this year they’re not waiting for leaves to fall before they bring their hot stuff to the coolest spot in Galesville.

Come on out to the Double Tree Hotel in Pikesville this Sunday, May 10, and celebrate Mother’s Day with The Jazz Perpetrators as they provide their “high spirits/low volume” musical entertainment for the hotel’s special Mother’s Day brunch. The event will run from 11am until 2pm in the hotel’s Fountainside Restaurant & Lounge . Reservations are required and can be made via OpenTable. Cost is $50.95 per person or $74.95 for the brunch with unlimited mimosas.

Mothers know best, and they know the best way to celebrate them on their special day is with family, good food and drink, and great entertainment. The Perps and the Double Tree’s brunch ticks two of those three boxes (you have to provide the family), so grab the gang and head on over for a great day out with Mom.

Easy to get to, the hotel is located at 1726 Reisterstown Road, just inside the beltway – see you there!

The Perps always look forward to playing Brian Boru, and as usual the action will take place in the pub area from 4 to 7 pm. The band’s special guest Paul Cortese will also be on hand to add his solo acoustic performance to the afternoon’s festivities.

Come on out to the Fountainside Restaurant & Lounge at the Double Tree Hotel in Pikesville this Sunday, April 5, and celebrate Easter with the Jazz Perpetrators as they provide their “high spirits/low volume” musical entertainment for the hotel’s special Easter brunch. This is a return engagement at the hotel for The Perps and a rare opportunity for folks in the Baltimore area to catch the band at one of their special public performances.

In addition to the band, the event will include traditional brunch favorites, an Easter egg hunt, and a complementary cotton candy beverage. Easy to get to, the hotel is located at 1726 Reisterstown Road, just inside the beltway. In what has by now become a time-honored tradition, The Jazz Perpetrators will once again be performing at the Homestead Gardens Fall Festival. The Perps will play on the “hay, how ya doin’?” west field stage from 11am until 3pm this Saturday, October 25, on the final weekend for this year’s festival. The festival is held next to the store’s main location at 743 West Central Avenue in Davidsonville, just south of Annapolis.

In addition to their usual time-tested crowd favorites, the Perps will be sprinkling in some seasonal tunes guaranteed to keep things hoppin’ and wrap up the festival on a high note. The band’s featured outdoor performance is just part of the day’s adventures, which will also include lots of kid-focused family activities such as tractor rides, a hay maze, a pipe slide, and a game tent. There will also be lots of barnyard buddies – baby goats, donkeys and miniature highland cows, all ready to meet and greet you. So come on down and have some pre-Halloween family fun – you’ll be glad you did!
