Yeah, it’s been hot, hotter than cat on a hot tin roof. But when it comes to music, the hottest hot is the cool sound of the Jazz Perpetrators, the coolest cats on or off a roof. And to prove it, the Perps will be making their monthly appearance at the John Barry Restaurant and Pub in the O’Callaghan Hotel in Annapolis this Sunday, August 7, from 7 to 10 pm. The Perps, now featuring Mister Smooth himself, vocalist Sterling Dorn, will make with their “high spirits, low volume” thing while you sit back, relax, chat, sip a delightful beverage of your choice, have a bite to eat, and soak up those swinging sounds.
The hotel and pub are located at 174 West Street, just a few blocks west of Church Circle near downtown Annapolis. And forget about parking hassles, the restaurant offers free valet parking in the rear.
