October begins this weekend, and that means that ghosts & goblins & witches & the walking dead are getting ready to hit the streets and hit you up for their sugar rush. Before you know it you won’t be able to walk anywhere without stepping on candy wrappers everywhere you go, and you’ll have to take half of the goodies in your house into the office so you don’t eat them all yourself.
But before all that kid stuff takes over, treat yourself to an adult-centric evening of good food and drink, a relaxing, friendly setting, and the famous “high spirits, low volume” music of those local freak-a-doodles, the Jazz Perpetrators. The Perps will be making their monthly appearance at the John Barry restaurant and pub in the O’Callaghan Hotel in Annapolis this Sunday, October 2, from 7 to 10pm. The Perps and vocalist extraordinaire Sterling Dorn will give you a mellow evening before you’re up to your eyeballs in costume making and jack ‘o lantern carving.
The hotel and pub are located at 174 West Street, just a few blocks west of Church Circle near downtown Annapolis. And forget about parking hassles, the restaurant offers free valet parking in the rear.
So take some time for yourself and come on down; we’ll see you on Sunday!
